By the parking lot in S. Giacomo/St. Jakob over the bridge and following the trail sign "Viedalpe" or Felbespitz. In the forest left to a small wooden house, then the trail steeply upwards to 1750 meters through the forest. Now flat across the snow basin in left direction and continue upwards diagonally under the rocks of the Grabspitze summit to a broad back. Over the back up into the big hollow under the saddle of the summit. Continue very steep up to the mountain saddle (2700m) and from here left to the ski depot. Upwards on the very steeply ridge to the eastern summit and over the snow ridge to the summit cross (2846m).

The Felbe summit is with its northwest mountainside to the Pfitsch valley  a ski tour classic in the Pfunderer mountains. The beautiful ski slopes are a special reward here.

Technical skiing grade: moderately difficult.
Alpine grade: difficult, pickaxe and crampons recommended.

From the exit A22 motorway in Vipiteno/Sterzing in direction east following the road signs Val di Vizze/Pfitsch until S. Giacomo/St. Jakob to the parking lot near the fire station.
