The history of this Burggräfler heritage farm below the old church in Algund near Meran is very old. On December 1, 1233, this property with its wine and grain estates is mentioned for the first time. The farm name comes from the distant year 1351 "Corn de Algunda" owned by the "Cunradus villicus in the Corn". In 1749 the owner at the time, Franz Alexander von Egen, donated a charming baroque farm chapel dedicated to St. John of Nepomuk. In the power of papal approval, mass could also be said in public.
In 1984, the property, now owned by the Anton Martin family, was raised to the status of hereditary farm. Anton Martin and his wife inherited this residence from their daughter Barbara, married Clementi, who now runs the farm with great pleasure with her husband Thomas and their three children Sophie, Aaron and Kilian.
