The farm
The Fingerhof is very quiet and idyllic in the middle of green meadows below the hamlet of Völser Aicha (municipality of Völs am Schlern).
The listed farm has been managed by Stefan Verant and his family since 2005.
The farm has 12 hectares, of which about 4 hectares are forest and 8 hectares are meadows. Half of the meadows are directly on the farm and the remaining 4 hectares are 3 km further up at 1000 m asl.
In the past, grain was grown on the farm and bread was baked in-house. There was also a vineyard for personal use under the house. For work reasons, however, a meadow was made of it.
The main source of income on the farm is dairy farming and renting out the holiday apartment as part of “holidays on the farm”.
In addition to the 12 milking cows and 8 calves, rabbits, several hens and the tomcat Ludwig also live on the Fingerhof.

Location & arrival
Arrival
Take the "Bozen Nord" motorway exit and turn left in the direction of the Schlern area. Go through the small village of Blumau and take the left exit in the tunnel. Drive on the Völs state road in the direction of Kastelruth to the "Gasthaus Faust" junction, where you take a sharp right turn and drive in the direction of Tiers. This road takes you about 5 km past the famous Prösels Castle until you reach the small hamlet of Völser Aicha. There you turn right and follow the signs "Fingerhof". After about 2 minutes you have reached our farm.
