The farm
The Gasteig mountain farm with its chalet is located in the South Tyrolean Ultental valley, just after the village of St. Nikolaus. With its natural trunk construction, unique in the Ultental valley, off the main road on the sunny slope and with a great view of the imposing surrounding mountains, the mountain farm is worth a visit at any time of the year. Lush, green meadows and forests await you during the summer months, and a glittering, white landscape in winter.
Hiking trails, mountain bike trails, cross-country ski runs and ski tours start directly from the farm, the Schwemmalm skiing and hiking area is about 3 km away. A little gem surrounded by a wonderful natural setting. The chalet offers a unique sense of well-being. Pure relaxation, what are you waiting for?

Location & arrival
Arrival
Take the A22 Brenner motorway to the Bozen Süd exit. Turn left here immediately onto the MeBo expressway. Then take the Meran Süd exit and follow the signs towards Ultental valley. From the junction in Lana it is about 28 km to the farm. The road leads past St. Pankraz, St. Walburg and Dreieckwies, continue until you reach St. Nikolaus at 1,250 m. The farm is located 1.5 km from the village and about 100 m above the main road.
From the Reschenpass via the Vinschger state road in the direction of Meran. From Algund on the MeBo expressway in the direction of Bozen to the Meran Süd exit. Follow the signs towards Ultental valley. From the junction in Lana it is about 28 km to the farm.
