The farm
The Plonerhof, first mentioned in 1317 as "Duplaner de Algund", is a typical fruit and wine farm of the Burggrafenamt region. The Pöhl family has been managing this farm since 1887 and is running it in the 4th generation; a property that has been carefully adapted with respect for tradition and a love for the beautiful things of today. Surrounded by our own orchards, the large lawn and the swimming pool, you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the central location in Algund. The wonderful view of the surrounding mountains makes you want to hike along the level valley floor (350 m) up to the summit regions. Choose between daily cultural events and weekly guided hikes organized by the Tourist Board; the children expect games, excursions and entertainment. Sandbox, swing and table tennis are in the garden.

Via the Brenner: Motorway A-22 to the Bozen Süd exit (approx. 85 km).
Immediately after the exit, turn left onto the Meran-Bozen expressway
Direction Meran, exit Algund (approx. 30 km).
Via the Reschen Pass: SS 38 road past Schlanders and Naturns, Algund exit.
In Algund head towards the centre, then you'll be in Peter Thalguterstrasse road, after 200 m Plonerhof is on the left.
Immediately after the exit, turn left onto the Meran-Bozen expressway
Direction Meran, exit Algund (approx. 30 km).
Via the Reschen Pass: SS 38 road past Schlanders and Naturns, Algund exit.
In Algund head towards the centre, then you'll be in Peter Thalguterstrasse road, after 200 m Plonerhof is on the left.
