Route description
Start: Zans, leftwards alont the Tschantschenonbach up to the Tschantschenonalm (1868 m). Ahead upwards in the direction of the Kreuzjoch, where we dodge to a small eastern sidewalk and hike up to a height of 2297m. Slightly downwards we come to  the beautyful Dolomitenhöhenweg Nr. 3 which we follow and than we go down on the right side into the Wasserscharte (2642 m) and we reach the highest point from our tour. We descend through the notch to the steep Wasserrinnental. From there down to the Plan Ciautier (Cislesalm). Go ahead to the Piera Longiahütte and up to the Panscharte (2590 m). Descend to the Villnösstal, over the famous Adolf Munkelweg, past the huts (Gschnagenhard, Geisler, Dusler, Glatschalm) back to Zans.

Through the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco valley to Klausen/Chiusa turn into Villnöss/Funes valley and drive to Zans.

By bus from Klausen/Chiusa or Brixen/Bressanone through Villnöss Valley to Zans
General description
Impressive mountain tour in the fantastic scenery of the Geisler Group. The tour includes two moderately difficult sections, the Roa Scharte and the Pana Scharte, and is otherwise completely problem-free.
Author's tip
Due to the length of the tour, it is recommended to split the hike over two days and combine it with an overnight stay (e.g. Mountain hut Regensburgerhütte).
