Freeway A22, exit Egna/Ora, then direction Salorno and continue Cauria

The tour to Königswiese/Prato del Rè starts at the parking place in Gfrill/Cauria at the right side of the hamlet, entering the hiking path number 4. This path passes several meadows and grasslands, past the "Wiesenhof"?, the "Aalbach"? and the "Drei Fichtenhof"?, localized near the Königswiese/Prato del Rè. At this point, the hiking path number 4a goes through fabulous beech groves and pictorial forests. With a bit of luck, woodpeckers and chamois can be seen and heard. Right before the Königswiese/Prato del Rè, the walk turns into the hiking path number 6 to reach the Königswiese/Prato del Rè on 1.622m above sea level, where since 2013 a summit cross is arranged. The hiking path number 6 leads back to "Dre Fichtenhof" and through the wood you can slightly recognize some parts of Gfrill/Cauria. Arriving at "Wiesenhof"? there is the possibility to visit the pictorial chapel "Virgin Mary" infestation in the meadows"? (German "Maria Heimsuchung in der Wiese"), which was built by the aristocratic family von Feigenputz in 1680.
