description to arrive at destination
 Coming from Innsbruck/Brennero (A): Drive on the Highway of Brennero (A22) until the exit Bressanone/Val Pusteria, then go on along the SS49-E66 for about 58kms until you arrive in Monguelfo. Coming from Lienz (A): You can reach us also padding by Lienz in Westtyrol (A). You have to cross the Austrian-Italian border between Ahrnbach and Winnebach (B100-E66) and drive on the SS46-E66 until Monguelfo.  
Route description

Start from the tourist office (1087m) in Monguelfo and cross the village centre. Across from the fire station above the junction with the main Val Casies Valley road take the panoramic Dolomites path “Dolomiten Panoramaweg”. From there, on the sunny side of Monguelfo, hike past a number of farmyards to the “Samwald” in Tesido. The sidewalk along the village road, the “Kreuzbichl” and the public swimming pool takes you back to Monguelfo. The trail is also very rewarding in the opposite direction starting from Tesido.
