This is especially true for a ‘Roter Hahn’ beer: The grain for beer production is grown entirely on the farm. The processing also takes place on site. This means that the farmer is also the brewer and the production from the raw ingredients to the finished beverage is all in the same hands. A wide variety of beers are brewed with great care from the farm's own grain. Whether strong, slightly bitter, malty or fruity, high quality and natural production are the top priorities for all ‘Roter Hahn’ beers. Preservatives and artificial flavourings are not used at all. Not even to combat weeds; only mechanical methods are used.
