The farm
600-year-old country house and organic farm, Rynnhof, lies in the middle of the oldest part of the village of Tramin. Grapes have been made into fine wines in the farm winery since 2011. Home-made jams and cordials may also be purchased in the farm shop. Rynnhof also hosts ‘Farm Holiday’ guests.

Knowing where it's from
Rynnhof produces the best grapes according to organic guidelines. The vineyards are located on the slopes of Tramin and Kaltern above Kalterer See Lake. The classic grape varieties are grown - Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Vernatsch and Lagrein. They are characteristic of this area.

Processing
The grapes are harvested and selected by hand, then processed directly on the farm. The wines are refined according to organic guidelines and mature in steel tanks and oak barrels. A special feature of the Rynnhof are the wine cellars in the historical vaults of the residence. The wooden barrels lie in the deep 600-year-old stone cellar.
White wines mature for a shorter time, red wines remain in the barrel or tank a little longer
