You’ll learn many interesting facts about chestnuts themselves, how they are processed, and their importance in the region. The name of this event day is “Keschtenriggl”, composed of "Keschtn" (means chestnuts in South Tyrolean dialect) and "Riggl" (a woven basket used to shake the peel off roasted chestnuts).
