Winter sports fans should plan a trip to Antholzertal valley for the Biathlon contest at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The Südtirol Arena - the fantastic biathlon centre in Pustertal valley - brings the Olympic Games, along with the best athletes from around the world, to South Tyrol for the first time. 11 events, including sprint, pursuit, mass start, individual, relay and mixed relay will have spectators experiencing a range of different emotions surrounded by legendary views of the local mountains.
Biathlon is tradition in Antholz, and World Cup races as well as two World Championships have taken place here on pistes of varying degrees of difficulty.
The first Olympic Biathlon competition will take place on 8th February 2026 and will see a gold medal being awarded for the mixed relay.
