Knowing where it's from
The Eschgfäller family takes care of almost 100 bee colonies, which they offer the best beekeeping sites around Hafling. In spring, the bees are allowed to collect nectar in Labers, above Trauttmansdorff Castle. When it then blooms in summer at higher altitudes, the beehives are taken to Hafling and the Hirzer area, where the hard-working bees collect nectar from meadow and forest blossoms as well as nectar from alpine roses.
