Karl has been producing fruit and wine according to organic guidelines since 1998. Vernatsch, which is typical of the region, as well as varieties such as Chardonnay and Lagrein thrive particularly well at Strickerhof because of the mild climate and the coolness in the vineyards at night. The fungus-resistant Bronner, as well as Goldmuskateller and Chambourcin, also ripen here under favourable conditions.
