Organic oven-roast chicken
Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside: That’s how a free-range grilled chicken should be. Roast potatoes with rosemary are the perfect accompaniment.

spice blend (salt, paprika, rosemary, pepper & a little herb salt)

Instructions - Organic oven-roast chicken

StepRub the chicken with the spice blend inside and out and under the wings. -
2.
StepPlace an oven tray underneath: the fat collected can be used to baste the chicken. -
3.
StepPlace directly onto the oven rack at 160° C (fan). -
4.
StepCooking time is approx. 45 minutes per kilo. Core temperature should reach 74° C. -
5.
StepOven-roasted potatoes with rosemary make an excellent accompaniment. -
6.
StepTip: Brush the chicken with butter and place under the grill for approx. 5 minutes to get lovely crispy skin. -
