The Linzertorte is one of the oldest cake recipes in the world. In this version, the pastry is adorned with apricot jam.

200 gapricot jam

Instructions - Linzer Torte with apricot jam

1.StepCream the butter with the sugar and spices and gradually add the eggs.

2.StepCombine the flour well with the baking powder and fold into the butter mixture.

3.StepFill the cake tin with 2/3 of the dough and smooth the top over. Spread with the apricot jam and then pipe on the remaining dough to form
