Boiled beef
The thinly sliced beef is an lovely light dish, especially good in summer.

Ingredients

1 kgbeef (shoulder)

1/2onion

50 gceleriac bulb

1carrot
-
1/2leek
-
4peppercorns
-
salt

1 kgpotatoe

1onion (cut into rings)

50 mlred wine vinegar
-
20 mlolive oil
Instructions - Boiled beef

1.StepBoil the beef for around 2 hours.

2.StepChop the onion, celery, carrot and leek into pieces and add to the pot with the peppercorns. Season with salt and boil for another 45 minutes approximately.

3.StepIn the meantime, peel the potatoes, quarter and boil separately in plenty of salted water for around 30 minutes.

4.StepTake the boiled meat out of the water, cut into thin slices and place on plates with the boiled potatoes.

5.StepLay onion rings on top of the meat and drizzle over vinegar and olive oil.
