The thinly sliced beef is an lovely light dish, especially good in summer.

    beef (shoulder)
  • 1/2
    onion
  • 50 g
    celeriac bulb
  • 1
    carrot
  • 1/2
    leek
  • 4
    peppercorns
  • salt
  • 1 kg
    potatoe
  • 1
    onion (cut into rings)
  • 50 ml
    red wine vinegar
  • 20 ml
    olive oil

Instructions - Boiled beef

    Step
    Boil the beef for around 2 hours.

    Step
    Chop the onion, celery, carrot and leek into pieces and add to the pot with the peppercorns. Season with salt and boil for another 45 minutes approximately.

    Step
    In the meantime, peel the potatoes, quarter and boil separately in plenty of salted water for around 30 minutes.

    Step
    Take the boiled meat out of the water, cut into thin slices and place on plates with the boiled potatoes.

    Lay onion rings on top of the meat and drizzle over vinegar and olive oil.
